It's also important to remember that this isn't a done deal yet. There's a lot that has to happen. Including... someone has to finance all the debt for this deal.

Tracy,

This stunt doesn't prevent future scrutiny by the FTC, IRS, FDA, and FBI...

Also, this whole company will be own by someone in a Tax Haven. This should now be a serious wakeup call to the IRS.

And, I think it will be funny to hear USANA's excuses to its distributors as to how this benefits them. Remember, all of USANA's presentations use the fact they are a publicly traded company and that it makes them more legitimate. Now they can throw out all of their presentations and promotional material. And

Distributors are going to have a fun time explaining this all to their prospects.

Ok Tracy what does this mean about Usana now with talks of a buy out. Where does that leave Minkow with all the work he did to try and prove the company was a pyrimid schem that just scammes a bunch of suckers.

Hi Schenck employee... Thanks for commenting. I know they're overpaying because I work in the same marketplace as VK and I know their fee structure and what they provide for it. The church is paying too much and getting too little. Did Schenck submit a proposal for this project?

How do you know that the church is "overpaying" Virchow Krause to do the work? Forensic accounting is very difficult and time consuming and needs to be done right, especially if criminal charges could hang in the balance.

Head Hunters can be quite the annoyance. Unfortunately I don't know if there is any way around them contacting you (apart from removing your name from the directories that they scan.)

They're kind of like tele-marketers, but without a "do not call list."

Michael your point is the main point of my article. It's about "segregating duties" so that people are naturally checking on one another's work. Even though many churches think they can't possibly segregate duties, they can. All they need is two people, and if they have three, they can do even better.

I look forward to that column, Tracy. The one thing that is easiest and most imperative to do is simply to have multiple people looking at the books. When I have heard about fraud at churches there is usually only one person responsible for the books (usually a CPA who is a parishioner) and nobody looks over their work to make sure they are doing it right and not stealing.
